TRAILER

Aliens from outer space that want to invade the Earth, that’s been happening in movies since the 50s, the real golden age of alien invasions. And after unlimited attempts to conquer our planet and infiltrate into our ecosystem, more than half a century later, the beings from another galaxy chose to take control of what? A semi frozen pre-historic woolly mammoth sitting in an exhibition of the Natural History Museum of a little calm american town? Yeah, why not!

With a plot like this you can only have 2 kinds of movies: A complete disaster that tries to be serious but it’s nothing but a piece of shit, or a funny movie that only wants to entertain and put a smile on your face. And, ladies and gentleman, we are happy to announce that the movie we are reviewing today belongs to the second group.

Mammoth is not a very original movie, no big surprises here, but it has something that many other movies of this kind lack: fresh and dynamic dialogs. The characters, action and personal matters shown in the film are the classic ones we’ve seen many times, but the roles are performed nicely good. The monster mammoth is an awful CGI piece but, who cares? In many other movies they would use and abuse of the CGI and lame digital effects, but with Mammoth the main star is the story and the characters, so the monster stays in a second term. Again, some fresh air for our eyes. Entertainment first!

There is not much more to say here. I feel like I am repeating myself. But if this lame review can share one single message to the dear audience, it should be WATCH THIS MOVIE! A funny monster movie to watch with lots of pop corn and a beer. Tell your friends to come over, order some pizzas, and just click play. You’re welcome.
