Recently we got the news that Breck Eisner, would be the one chosen to direct the Friday the 13th reboot. He was the one that already delivered a remake of The Crazies (1973), in his 2010 approach,and latelly been welcomed with what ended up being a kind of respectful blockbuster, The Last Witch Hunter (2015).
Not much we know about this yet agaaaaaain new revision of the Voorhees family, leaded by bloodthirst motherfucker Jason. So far, we got recently gifted by the new poster.
We will have to wait until next October to see the final result, but surely a title like this won’t be except for the leaks of images and plot facts. Still, at least from my opinion and regarding all the atrocities made in the name of Jason Voorhees, I only hope these new group of filmakers stay with the originals and don’t succumb in the dangerous arms of overused CGI. Jason Voorhees feels, acts and smells like rotten blood. Let’s keep it this way.
