Witches are being burnt nowadays in "Witch Hunt"

Generations pass but witchcraft remains as one of the subjects teenagers around the world get an attraction for. Why is the occult so much fun? Amazing stories and creatures, terrible happenings to people burnt in front of their neighbors, the possibility of summoning a powerful creature to make your wishes granted… Yes, of course, witchcraft is so much fun!

Witch Hunt (2021) is a horror-thriller set in a modern America where witches are real and witchcraft is illegal. In it, a sheltered teenager must face her own demons and prejudices as she helps two young witches avoid law enforcement and cross the southern border to asylum in Mexico. The girls are part of an underground movement in charge of ferrying women accused of witchcraft to safety. All is well in their world until a new charge brings the witch hunters to their door. Will they escape with their lives or will they also be charged with the ungodly crime of being a witch?

This is the new movie from writer and director Elle Callahan after her debut feature film, the awards-winner horror-thriller Head Count (2018). The main cast is formed by Elizabeth Mitchell, Christian Camargo, Abigail Cowen, Gideon Adlon, Cameron Crovetti, Ashley Bell, Lulu Antariksa, Riley Scott, Treva Etienne, and Jess Varley.

Signature Entertainment has the distribution rights for Witch Hunt (2021) and released it on digital platforms like Amazon Prime Video on July 5, 2021. Here you can watch its trailer.
