In Bad Match (2017), Harris is this kind of guys that use internet dating services as his basic tool to get laid, only searching for easy sex, and not caring for the person behind the body he has in front. I bet everybody knows a person who is like that. Perhaps you, our beloved reader, are this kind of person. And I guess that is fair, if the other half of the date is in the same spot, because if you got hooked up to a pycho who gets obsessed with you, trouble is served. Trouble or the plot for a horror thriller flick, which is what we have in hands right now.
Bad Match (2017) is the second movie from writer and director David Chirchirillo after his debut film, the very forgettable 616: Paranormal Incident (2013). But the guy who co-wrote the very interesting Cheap Thrills (2013) deserved a second chance, and regarding the people who had the pleasure to enjoy this movie at Frightfest last week, this second chance has been well used.
The movie is starred by Jack Cutmore-Scott, Lili Simmons, Noureen DeWulf, Trent Haaga, Brandon Scott, Christine Donlon, Kahyun Kim, Talisa Friedman and Zedrick Restauro among others. A theatrical release for the film has been announced, although not much is known about the dates and distribution yet. I guess after the film festivals season these will get clarified and we’ll see if we have the chance to catch the movie on the big screen. In any way, this is a title that I’m craving to see.
