There has been months since we knew David Lynch was working on the third season of Twin Peaks, probably the biggest unfinished nightmare of the 20th Century. And although we can’t be more excited about the idea, confusion reigns in the concept since we still don’t have a date to mark on the calendar for when to expect the new adventures of Agent Cooper in the town where anything can happen. Or does someone do?
The speculation alarms went off the other day when some american media recieved a calendar from Showtime (who is producing the 3rd Twin Peaks season) where the month May is dedicated to Twin Peaks and the day 30th of April has an inscription that reads “Welcome to Twin Peaks”.
So far we can only do but to especulate, but if this is true we are only a few months ahead of whitnessing the conclussion of our lives. I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait to see what David Lynch has had in store for almost 3 decades. Actors like Kyle MacLachlan, Sheryl Lee, Sherilyn Fenn, Dana Ashbrook, Madchen Amick, Miguel Ferrer, David Patrick Kelly, Richard Beymer, Amanda Seyfried, Peter Sarsgaard, Balthazar Getty, Robert Knepper, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Bailey Chase, Laura Dern, Robert Forster, Naomi Watts, Tom Sizemore, Grant Goodeve, Larry Clarke, Caleb Landry Jones, James Belushi, Ashley Judd, Michael Cera, Pearls Jam’s singer Eddie Vedder, Ernie Hudson, Derek Mears and Nine Inch Nails’ mastermind Trent Reznor will reprise their roles or bring new faces for what probably has been the best TV series ever.
Laura Palmer said it loud and clear. “I’ll see you again in 25 years”.
