Trouble starts when his android servant starts thinking for herself in "Maid Droid"

I can imagine how the fantasy of some men (and probably also women) is to have a robotic servant, a very good-looking one, that can carry on with the home duties and a little extra more, in the most personal and physical ambits, you know what I mean. But, hey, if we have learned something from all the science-fiction novels and movies is that the androids might gain a conscience and our wills are not their wills any more. And then what?

The science-fiction thriller Maid Droid (2023) explores that subject. In the movie, recovering from a recent break-up, Harrison’s life changes forever when he contacts the mysterious Maid Droid agency and he meets Mako, a beautiful android who serves his every wish. However, soon Mako starts to learn human emotions and memories from her past surface, leading her to act out in dangerous ways.

This is the new movie by producer, writer, editor, and director Rich Mallery, responsible for other thriller and horror films like Sociopathia (2015), Holy Terror (2017), Sinful (2020), Wicked Game (2022), and Felines (2023).

The main cast in the movie is formed by Faith West, Jose Adam Alvarez, Kylee Michael, Anthony Rainville, Chris Spinelli, Elizabeth Chang, Quentin Boyer, and Patricia Mizen.

Maid Droid (2023) is a CineRidge Entertainment production and distributed by Cinema Epoch. It is scheduled for a digital release on August 4, 2023.
