Trailer: "The Furies" will hit theaters in Australia in November

The Furies (2019) is a horror slasher film about 8 women who find themselves in the middle of nowhere and are eventually chased by 8 masked killers. It centers Kayla, who together with her best friend and 6 other women find themselves as the unwilling participants of a sadistic game. And the only way to get out of there alive is raising as the winner of the tournament.

The movie is the debut feature film of writer and director Tony D’Aquino. Airlie Dodds, Linda Ngo, Taylor Ferguson, Ebony Vagulans, Danielle Horvat, Tom O’Sullivan, Jessica Baker, Kaitlyn Boyé, Harriet Davies, Steve Morris, and Brendan Kelly form the main cast.

The Furies (2019) have been part of the line-up of Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival and Edinburgh International Film Festival, where the reception was quite positive and the audience praised the bloody scenes and the violence, even comparing it with other horror fans favorites similar titles like Wolf Creek (2005). This year it will also be part of other festivals like Sitges Film Festival, Frightfest or Fantasy Film Fest.
