With the shitty political class we’ve been having worldwide recently and the influence of the popular video games and movies Resident Evil, it was inevitable that the joke “president evil” was to be said more than once and twice in many different events in our real life. At least, I must admit I’ve said it several times. But I guess with the current American president this was the perfect moment to turn this joke into a feature film. Or at least that is what the filmmakers of President Evil (2018) thought.
President Evil (2018) is a horror comedy where days before the November mid-term USA Elections, three young girls who are a Muslim, Mexican and Haitian, are stalked by a deranged killer dressed as the POTUS. You know, POTUS = President Of The United States, in case you lacked that info. The rest is simple maths, Donald Trump plus Michael Myers equals President Evil. Yeah, why not?
This movie has been directed by Richard Lowry, the maker of several horror and science-fiction oriented entertaining reduced budget titles like Dominion (2015), Rapture (2014), Rise of the Empire (2016) or the short film Lilitu (2015). He and Gregory P. Wolk co-wrote the script. Ryan Quinn Adams, Kevin Alain, Sitara Attaie, Havon Baraka, Amber Boone, Bruce Clifford, Chris Clyne, Naomi Franck, Lys Perez, Johanna Rae and Sara Martz star in the film.
President Evil (2018) is scheduled to get released on VoD this Thursday. Yesterday the producers of the movie, Giant Meteor Films, released the official trailer on their Youtube channel. You can watch it here:
