To go back to your hometown regarding some working change might not sound as good as it does at first. Well, actually, does it sound good to anyone? Because if you left the place was for some reason, right? Anyway, this is what happens to Mary, when she and her husband are forced to move back to the town where they grew up. He has to tie up some loose ends, so she moves there first to get the stuff ready. But soon she sees not everything was as quiet and idyllic as she recalled in her nicest memories. Because in those suburbs a crazed ice cream truck driver is wandering around.
This is the start point for The Ice Cream Truck (2017), a little interesting horror film written and directed by young filmmaker Megan Freels Johnston, undoubtfully one of the names to keep in mind. Deanna Russo, Emil Johnsen, John Redlinger, Sam Schweikert, Hilary Barraford and Bailey Anne Borders star. Jeff Daniel Phillips, Rob Zombie‘s favorite actor, also has a small role.
The movie will be out on VideoOnDeman and DVD/Blu-Ray the 18th of August. Do you want to see more about it? Check out the trailer here:
