Occupation (2018) is an Australian action science fiction flick written and directed by Luke Sparke. The movie is produced by SparkeFilms History Design and will be distributed by Ascot Elite Entertainment Group in Germany, Pinnacle Films in Australia and Saban Films in the USA.
In it, after their small Australian country town is annihilated by an overwhelming airborne attack, a group of civilians evade capture and discover they are now among the last remaining survivors of an extraterrestrial invasion engulfing the entire planet. As humanity falls under world-wide occupation, they form a home-grown army to fight back against vastly superior enemy forces. On the front lines of the battle for Earth, they are our last hope.
Occupation (2018) is starred by an international cast mainly consisting of Dan Ewing, Temuera Morrison, Stephany Jacobsen, Rhiannon Fish, Zachary Garred, Izzy Stevens, Charles Terrier, Charles Mesure, Felix Williamson, Jacqueline McKenzie, Aaron Jeffery, Trystan Go and Bruce Spence, popular for appearing in the original Mad Max trilogy as well as in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales (2017), I, Frankenstein (2014), Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith (2005) and The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (2003).
