Trailer for horror-comedy “Extracurricular”: Straight A’s students going wild

Miriam, Derek, Ian, and Jenny are overachieving high school students and friends doing everything by the book. Straight A’s, sports, yearbook, playing in a band, etc. But they also have a secret pastime: planning and executing murders. But when one of their plans goes shockingly awry, the relationship between the group is put to the test.

This is the intriguing plot of Extracurricular (2018), the second movie of Ray Xue after his mystery film Transcendent (2012). The screenplay has been written by Matthew Abrams and Padgett Arango. Keenan Tracey, Brittany Raymond, Spencer Macpherson, Brittany Teo, Stephen Bogaert, Emmanuel Kabongo, and Luke Goss.

Extracurricular (2018) started principal photography on October 15, 2017, in Sudbury, Ontario, and was completed in 2018. The movie had a 2018 and 2019 film festivals run including Toronto After Dark Film Festival in Canada, and Frightfest and London FrightFest Film Festival in the UK.
