Gregory Plotkin is a filmmaker better know for being part of the editorial team in renowned horror movies such as Frequency (2000), Untraceable (2008), World War Z (2013), Get Out (2017), Happy Death Day (2017) just to name a few. Recently he moved to the position of director and debuted being responsible of Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension (2015), the fifth entry in the Paranormal Activity saga (of which he has also edited some of the titles). Now it comes to his second movie as a director, the horror old style slasher Hell Fest (2018).
Hell Fest (2018) is about a masked serial killer that turns a horror-themed amusement park into his own personal playground, terrorizing a group of friends while the rest of the patrons believe that it is all part of the show. But the fun ends when the youngster visitors realize the blood is real and death is not a simulation. Those are no props, they are real dead bodies.
Bex Taylor-Klaus, Reign Edwards, Amy Forsyth, Michael Tourek, Courtney Dietz, Elle Graham, Christian James and Matt Mercurio are the stars of the film that also includes the appearance of Tony Todd, one of the classics in this kind of horror films memorable for his portray of Candyman and many many other characters.
Hell Fest (2018) is opening in selected theaters in countries like the USA, Russia or Sweden the last week of September.
