Trailer for "Boar", a giant pig flick with Bill Moseley

Next day Friday the 13th of April, at the Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival, Australian horror movie Boar (2018) will have its world premiere. Why am I highlighting this? Well, because it seems like it could be a good dose of fun guts and blood, and I hope the reception of the film is good so it can have a wider theatrical release worldwide!

Boar (2018) serves as some sort of remake of another Australian monster-pig flick Razorback (1984), which became a tiny sensation and cult piece. The main star claim is Bill Moseley, and also include John Jarratt, Melissa Tkautz, Hugh Sheridan, Nathan Jones, Ernie Dingo, Simone Buchanan, Roger Ward, Steve Bisely, Ricci Guarnaccio and Emily Williams.

In the harsh, yet beautiful Australian outback lives a beast, an animal of staggering size, with a ruthless, driving need for blood and destruction. It cares for none, defends its territory with brutal force, and kills with a raw, animalistic savagery unlike any have seen before.

The movie is written and directed by Chris Sun, a man who has dedicated all his life to the genre of horror and has also been responsible of titles like Charlie’s Farm (2014), Daddy’s Little Girl (2012) and Come and Get Me (2011).

Besides its screening at the Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival, Boar (2018) is also scheduled to open the 31st of October in Australia. And hopefully, that will expand to other territories. In the meantime, let’s check out its trailer here:
