Sometimes we horror fans want it all. A mystery train with a murder to solve, in the most classic style? We’re in. That train being hijacked? Why not. And then it derails, sinks, and the survivors must escape from an underwater creature never known by man before? Of course! And, pretty much, that is the main plot story of D-Railed (2018), where the passengers on the crashed train into a river must decide whether to risk waiting for help in the wreckage or take their chances in the murky depths below.
D-Railed (2018) has been directed by Dale Fabrigar, who also serves as co-writer together with producer Suzanne DeLaurentiis and Everette Wallin, the same team that brought out another quite enjoyable monster flick Area 407 (2012). Lance Henriksen is the most outstanding name in a cast also formed by Frank Lammers, Tonya Kay, Jack Betts, Everette Wallin, Daniel O’Reilly, Gregg Christie, Shae Smolik, Leticia LaBelle, Marvin Ryan, Giovannie Espiritu, Ben Hopkins, Alexis Safoyan, Brie Mattson and Catherine Healy.
D-Railed (2018) has participated in several film festivals where it has achieved numerous nominations and awards. The festivals run included the appearance in events like New York City Horror Film Festival, Crimson Screen Horror Film Fest, Festigious International Film Festival, Independent Horror Movie Awards and International Independent Film Awards.
Uncork’d Entertainment has obtained the distribution rights for the movie, and it has scheduled it to come out the 6th of August this year. The official trailer can be found in the official YouTube page of Suzanne DeLaurentiis, and you can watch it here:
