Animal Among Us (2019) is another take on the Bigfoot legend, or a never seen before monster creature living in the woods and feeding off anything that can get on its way. That can be all sorts of animals habiting the forest or, why not, human campers.
In the movie, fifteen years ago, two teenage girls were murdered at Merrymaker Campgrounds. The case was filed an animal attack, the camp was condemned and the killer never found, but something horrific still waits in those woods.
Animal Among Us (2019) is the debut feature film of John Woodruff, and it has been written by Jonathan Murphy. The main cast is formed by Larisa Oleynik, Erin Daniels, Heather Tom, Christian Oliver, Christine Donlon, Eric Tiede, Jasmine Dustin, and Don Frye.
The movie has been present at some small festivals like Die Laughing Film Festival and Twin Falls Sandwiches Film Festival where it has achieved several awards and a pretty good response from the audience. Now, Uncork’d Entertainment has scheduled it to be released on DVD and Video on Demand on November 19. Here you can watch the official trailer of Animal Among Us (2019):
