Halloween is approaching. Have you already chosen what monster or cursed creature will you be? Is there any fun party on sight? Will you and your friends get dirty playing trick or treat? Well, if you do, remember, always choose “treat”. At least that is the catchline of upcoming slasher horror film Trick (2019).
The movie follows a detective as he tries to track down a supernatural serial killer named Trick, who is terrorizing a small town. Trick comes back every Halloween, with his customized knife, with only one simple idea: to stab as many people as possible.
Trick (2019) is the new work of filmmaker Patrick Lussier, who has spent all his career working on horror films since debuting behind the cameras with The Prophecy 3: The Ascent (2000), creating the vampire trilogy that scared cinemas in the beginning of the new century conforming Dracula 2000 (2000), Dracula II: Ascension (2003) and Dracula III: Legacy (2005), and other popular titles like White Noise 2: The Light (2007), My Bloody Valentine (2009) and Drive Angry (2011). He has also been co-writer of the screenplay together with Todd Farmer, writer of Jason X (2001), The Messengers (2007) and its sequel Messengers 2: The Scarecrow (2009).
Omar Epps, Jamie Kennedy, Tom Atkins, Ellen Adair, Vanessa Aspillaga, Alex Breaux, Kristina Reyes, Gary J. Tunnicliffe, Aaron Dalla Villa, Hilary Greer, Summer Crockett Moore, and Thom Niemann form the main cast of Trick (2019). The movie is scheduled to come out in the USA this Friday the 18th.
