Of course, with a title like Mega Ape, not much is left to the imagination. But let’s not stay on the surface and take a look at what the film has to offer.
Mega Ape (2023) centers on a team of animal rights activists who unknowingly release a genetically engineered ape from a top-secret research facility, who soon grows to enormous size and embarks on a rampage of total destruction in Hollywood.

Dustin Ferguson, a filmmaker with over a hundred directional credits responsible for Arachnado (2020), Apex Predators (2021), Ebola Rex (2021), Beyond the Gates of Hell (2022), and the Meathook Massacre, Camp Blood, Sleepaway Camp, Tales for the Campfire, Faces of Dying, Doll Killer sagas among many many others, is the writer, director, and editor of Mega Ape (2023).
To lead the main cast we have Tom Sizemore, known for Strange Days (1995), The Relic (1997), and Twin Peaks (2017), and Bai Ling from The Crow (1994), Three… Extremes (2004), Crank: High Voltage (2009), Samurai Cop 2: Deadly Vengeance (2015), and Sharknado 5: Global Swarming (2017) fame. Mel Novak, Traci Burr, Jonathan Nation, Erik Anthony Russo, Ken May, and Vida Ghaffari also star.
