Tom Six undoubtfully has deserved a chair in the hall of extreme filmmakers. His mix of sick humor, grotesque imagery and thirst for abominations has helped him to create a persona that has transcended even further from his film work. An avid painter and very active on Twitter (to follow his account https://twitter.com/tom_six should be something mandatory for any fan of twisted contents), The Human Centipede trilogy put him on the map but no one ever thought that the story was going to end here.
Not much is known about the plot of his next movie, entitled The Onania Club (2018) and set in Hollywood, California. It has been labeled as a psychological thriller, and described by Six himself as “one of the most vile, inhumane movie experiences of all time”. The main cast is formed by Jessica Morris, Darcy DeMoss, Deborah Twiss, Karen Strassman, and Flo Lawrence. Will it also contain the presence of actors Dieter Laser and Laurence R. Harvey, whose iconic performances in the Human Centipede series are already part of the history of extreme cinema? Well, that is yet unknown, but personally, I am craving for that.
The Onania Club (2018) is produced by Six Entertainment Company, created by Tom Six and his sister Ilona Six, which surely gave the independence to the writer and director to achieve all the morbidness this new project needed.
Since the project was announced back in 2016 I have been looking for the moment The Onania Club (2018) finally sees the light. And it seems that this day might be close since it is currently seeking distribution, with a hopeful Fall 2018 release. So now, like always, it is time to follow Tom Six’s Twitter account and wait for more news!
