Tim Blake Nelson has been chosen to Sci-fi flick "Michael Zero"

Tim Blake Nelson might be better recognizable for the audiences for his extense acting career, usually in memorable supporting roles in titles like O Brother, Where Art Thou? (2000), Minority Report (2002), Fido (2006), The Incredible Hulk (2008) and more recently Colossal (2016). But what many might not know is that he is also an accomplished screenwriter and director, more specialized in thriller and drama, being responsible for the pretty interesting titles Anesthesia (2015), The Grey Zone (2001), O (2001) or his fantastic debut behind the cameras Eye of God (1997).

According to Deadline, his next project as a director is Michael Zero (2019). This science fiction action thriller follows the story of Michael Redmayne, who is forced to hunt down and kill his clones after they desert the war they were created to fight, in order to wage one of their own against the Corporate State that made them. The cast is still unknown, with the extra incognita of if Tim Blake Nelson will save one of the roles for himself. Adam Alleca, writer of the screenplay of action thrillers Standoff (2016) and Cell (2016), and the horror titles The Last House on the Left (2009), Delirium (2018) and the recently announced The Piper, has been in charge of the script.

This marks the third collaboration between Tim Blake Nelson as director and producing company Millennium Media, who together with Eclectic Pictures are behind the production. Nelson is currently involved in the Joel and Ethan Coen’s TV mini-series The Ballad of Buster Scruggs (2018– ), but its expected that pre-production and cast ensembling for Michael Zero (2019) to start soon.
