This weekend is taking place in the city of Barcelona two of the classic events for the lovers of horror, science-fiction and trashy movies. As always, they are being organized by the people from La Oscura Ceremonia, and under the umbrella of the third La Oscura Ceremonia Festival.
This year marks the 10th anniversary of audiovisual experience HorrorVision. Taking place in Les Basses auditorium, the festival will programme on Friday and Saturday a collection of short and feature films, documentaries, and this year, for the first time, the live show Carrie, The Cabaret. All of that completed with a merch corner and the always necessary refreshment station, where the audience can purchase their dosage of popcorn, beer and other goods. The festival is happening both days at Les Basses auditorium, in Teide street, 20.
And the following day, on Sunday the 21st, with a hangover of guts and blood, the most popular market of horror-oriented DIY artists is taking place in its habitual location of Espai Jove La Fontana (Gran de Gracia 190). HorrorMarket is a meeting point for designers, artists and collectives where they will expose their latest works. Prints, books, fanzines, movies, music, toys, clothing and all sort of decoration goods and merchandise can be found by the people of dKillerPanda, Monster Museum, Avante Hermético, Amazing Monsters and many other creators of the Barcelona area.
