This is truly scary. The new trailer for Alex Garland's "Men" is out

Last month, the first teaser trailer for the upcoming Alex Garland’s horror movie Men (2022) come out. Filled with mystery and beautifully scary images, we couldn’t figure out much of its plot but we saw it was going to become a nightmare of a film. Now, its new trailer has seen the light and we can certify our expectations were correct.

The official plot shared by the people of A24 is still keeping most of the secrets of the movie hidden. A young woman goes on a solo vacation to the English countryside after the death of her ex-husband.

Alex Garland started gaining recognition in the film industry after writing the screenplays for The Tesseract (2003), Dredd (2012), and the Danny Boyle films The Beach (2000), 28 Days Later… (2002), and Sunshine (2007). Then he moved to film directing to debut with the science-fiction instant classic Ex Machina (2014), nominated for an Academy Award for Best Writing Screenplay and the BAFTA Film Awards for Best British Film, Best Supporting Actress (Alicia Vikander), Best Original Screenplay, Best Special Visual Effects, and Outstanding Debut by a British Writer, Director or Producer, and the superb horror and science-fiction Annihilation (2018). Men (2022) marks his third film as a writer and director.

The main cast for Men (2022) is formed by Jessie Buckley, nominated for an Academy Award for her participation in The Lost Daughter (2021) and also present in I’m Thinking of Ending Things (2020), Beast (2017), and The Courier (2020), and also includes Rory Kinnear, better known as M’s assistant Bill Tanner in the latest James Bond movies and also part of the cast in Wild Target (2010), The Imitation Game (2014), and Trespass Against Us (2016), and Paapa Essiedu, nominated for a Primetime Emmy and BAFTA TV Award for Leading Actor in I May Destroy You (2020).

Men (2022) is Rated R for disturbing and violent content, graphic nudity, grisly images, and language. It is scheduled for a theatrical release on May 20, 2022, by A24. Watch here its new official trailer.
