Since entertainment was invented, no matter if it was movies, novels, or just mouth-to-mouth stories, the idea of creatures from outer space wanting to invade us with not very friendly intentions, either to exterminate us, use us as cattle, whatever, has been one of the recurrent topics. And why is that? The elaborated answer would be because the universe is a mystery, but I’d bet the real answer is way more simple: Because it’s just so fucking fun.
In the horror and science-fiction movie Alien Invasion (2023) a group of friends finds a large egg, but little did they know that it contained an unwelcome predator. Now they must stop it from reaching civilization.

This is the debut feature film of Fred Searle, who previously has worked as the assistant director in titles like The Legend of Jack and Jill (2021), Curse of Bloody Mary (2021), Looks Can Kill (2022), and Midnight Peepshow (2022). Craig McLearie is responsible for the texts in B-movies like Hatched (2021), Pterodactyl (2022), Curse of Jack Frost (2022), Dragon Fury: Wrath of Fire (2022), The Killing Tree (2022), Amityville Scarecrow 2 (2022), Conjuring the Genie 2 (2022), and Medusa’s Venom (2023), has been the writer of the screenplay for Alien Invasion (2023).
Amber Doig-Thorne, May Kelly, Nikolai Leon, Sarah T. Cohen, Matthew Baunsgard, Richard Kovacs, Benjamin Colbourne, and Bao Tieu as the Alien form the main cast.
Devilworks has the distribution rights for the movie and will release it on DVD and TV on Demand on April 11, 2023.
