Somebody in Netflix like science fiction flicks, and we all celebrate it. Next weekend, the 30th of March, the popular Video on Demand platform will add the title The Titan (2018) to their catalog. This is the debut feature film for German filmmaker Lennart Ruff. The movie was filmed in Canary Islands, Spain, whose landscapes have been used for other science fiction titles like The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy (2005), Clash of the Titans (2010), Realive (2016) or Cold Skin (2017).
In the near future, a military family uproots their lives so they can participate in a ground-breaking experiment to accelerate man’s genetic evolution. The goal? To relocate humanity to another planet and avoid extinction. This is the plot for The Titan (2018), the movie starring an international cast led by Sam Worthington, Taylor Schilling, Tom Wilkinson, Agyness Deyn, Corey Johnson and Nathalie Emmanuel.
Netflix has recently released the first trailer of the movie, and you can see it here:
