This month, a movie that is called horny, bloody, and sadistic is going to hit our home cinema sets. The Leech (2022) is a horror comedy film that menaces to become a favorite title for the goers of the genre.
The movie centers on a devout priest who welcomes a struggling couple into his house at Christmas time. What begins as a simple act of kindness quickly becomes the ultimate test of faith once the sanctity of his home is jeopardized.
This is the new movie of producer, writer, and director Eric Pennycoff, who already debuted behind a feature film with Sadistic Intentions (2018) and the segment “M is for Mariachi” in ABCs of Death 2.5 (2016).
The main star in The Leech (2022) is actor and director Jeremy Gardner, known for his participation in independent horror titles like The Battery (2012), Spring (2014), Like Me (2017), Psychopaths (2017), After Midnight (2019), Offseason (2021), and Joe Begos’ The Mind’s Eye (2015), Bliss (2019), and Christmas Bloody Christmas (2022). Graham Skipper, Taylor Zaudtke, and Rigo Garay also star.
The movie was part of the Chattanooga Film Festival, Popcorn Frights Film Festival, FrightFest Film Festival, and Screamfest Horror Film Festival this year and now it is set for a digital and Blu-Ray release on December 6, 2022.
