The Internet turns into a slasher serial killer in "Who Was Phone?"

A movie like Who Was Phone? (2020) uses an interesting headline to catch the audiences. Is it really “The first movie written by the Internet”? Also, during the trailer it is said another smart and key sentence, “Hashtag we’re all gonna die”. A horror-thriller that has a good amount of comedy but although it centers in the addictions that can cause the social media and it uses plenty of Internet argot, it also presents a mask slasher serial killer.

In the movie, years after the death of her father, college student Fiona Stephens and her friends struggle to escape the grasp of a masked psychopath, hellbent on their brutal murders.

Who Was Phone? (2020) has been produced, written and directed by David Daan and Steve Daan. Kelly Voke, Emily Richter, Gigi Nubani, Chad Moseley, Dan McCurry, Sammy Ketcham, Keith Kelly, Hayley Himmelman, Stephen George, Brian Barber, Anne-Catherine Daan, and one of the co-directors David Daan form the main cast.
