This is a story of a boy/girl’s ambition and dreams where society discriminates against their freedom and opportunity. Due to a lack of education villagers still believe in old tradition (Pratha) that is not good for the society as other practices like black magic, tantra, and mantra.
K. Muralikrishna, responsible for the dramas Mu paradesi Chadhei (2020) and Champion (2019), is the writer and director of the film.
The cast in Pratha (2023) is formed by Simaran Kaur, Sheetal Patra, Yash Ahlawat, Bobby Mishra, Choudhury Jayaprakash Das, Swaraj Barik, and Bikash Das.
