In the minds of the supernatural superstitious person, once someone has a traumatic death their ghost might remain in the place where the crime was committed haunting it. The Ghost Within (2023) is another movie following that premise.
In it, a young woman revisits her family home desperate to discover her sister Evie’s murderer 20 years before. After a series of terrifying encounters with Evie’s ghost at 09:09 pm, Margot knows she must fight to learn the truth once and for all.
The awards-winner filmmaker Lawrence Fowler has been the co-writer, producer, and director of The Ghost Within (2023). He is better known for his previous horror films Curse of the Witch’s Doll (2018), The Jack in the Box (2019), and its sequel The Jack in the Box: Awakening (2022). Geoff Fowler has been the co-writer of the screenplay.
Michaela Longden, Rebecca Phillipson, Tom Millen, Victor Mellors, Simon Davies, and Nick Bailey form the main cast.
