Since it was announced almost 2 years ago, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2019) has become one of the most awaited movies of this year 2019. Quentin Tarantino bringing his very special talent for audiovisual narration at the service of one of the biggest crimes of the past century was something worth to wait for. The infamous Manson Family Murders, when the followers of Charles Manson killed popular 26 years old actress Sharon Tate together with Steven Parent, Jay Sebring, Abigail Folger and Wojciech Frykowski on August 8, 1969.
As always happens with Tarantino, his choice was to explain the big story through the lives of alternative people in the happening events. Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2019) centers how a faded TV actor and his stunt double strive to achieve fame and success in the film industry during the final years of Hollywood’s Golden Age in 1969 Los Angeles. They eventually manage to get in the circle of Sharon Tate, the wife of Roman Polanski who was at the time pregnant of the director’s child.
As we are accustomed when it comes to a Quentin Tarantino project, a huge list of A-class stars is populating the movie.
