The deprivation of sleep causes panic in a small town in the horror thriller "Thirst"

Woah, so much I love to sleep. Sometimes I even like it better than being awake. And although insomnia is actually an issue I suffer in my own flesh and bones I can imagine it could become a panic threat if it became a generalized matter.

That premise is taken in the horror and thriller Thirst (2023) as the starting point of the plot. In it, insomnia spreads in a small town, causing fear and panic. As the situation becomes dire, two couples find salvation on an abandoned ranch, but as nefarious characters descend upon the land, claiming it as their own, chaos ensues.

Eric Owen debuts in a feature film as the writer, producer, and director of Thirst (2023).

Brian Villalobos, who has participated in the horror films Last Girl Standing (2015), Scare Package (2019), and Blood Relatives (2022), and is starring in the upcoming comedy Chocolate Lizards (2023) alongside Bruce Dern, Thomas Haden Church, and Carrie-Anne Moss, is the protagonist in Thirst (2023). Federica Estaba Rangel, Cynthia Fray, P. Michael Hayes II, Scotty Walker, Lori Kovacevich, Brandie Louck, Stephanie Slayton, and Brian Cogley complete the main cast.

Produced by 2perf Productions and distributed by Gravitas Ventures, the movie is coming out on digital platforms on September 5, 2023. Watch the official trailer for Thirst (2023).
