The dangers of drive-sharing: Horror "Dawn" is out today

Drive-sharing is a good way to travel cheaply, you just have to find someone who is going to the same destination as you do and share the expenses. But, as it happens with all these new technology applications, you never know what kind of unknown person you are going to have to share a bunch of hours with. It could be a great person and become real friends, or it could be a mad one and make your trip into a living hell. And this is what happens in the horror thriller Dawn (2022).

The movie tells of an unsuspecting couple that gets into rideshare only to find out that they may have to fight for their lives as the deranged driver puts them through life-and-death situations. Be careful who you accept a ride from, it may be your last.

This is the debut feature film of producer and director Nicholas Ryan, who already has a wide experience as a production assistant in popular movies like Domestic Disturbance (2001), Mission: Impossible III (2006), World Trade Center (2006), and some TV series. The screenplay has been written by Ryder Doupe, Dawson Doupé, and Todd Tapper, who already worked together in drama-thriller Lemonheads (2020).

The main cast in Dawn (2022) is formed by Jackie Moore, Jared Cohn, Sarah French, Nicholas Brendon, Russ Smith, Gigi Gustin, and the veterans Michael Paré and Eric Roberts.

The movie is coming out on digital on August 2, 2022.
