This is the new movie of John David Moffat IV, after the debut feature film Goin’ Around (2021). The screenplay has been written by Ryan Graff together with Jill Killington, a producer known for the TV series The Stand (2020–2021) and Loiter Squad (2012–2014), and the drama film All We Had (2016) starring and directed by Katie Holmes.
The main cast for The Blackout Experiment (2021) is formed by Troy Jones, Dom Cole, Yasmin Irvine, Steven Synstelien, Stefani Rose, Cheverly Amalia, Cheryl Lyone, and Uli Auliani.
