The battle with an ancient Evil takes place in "In Its Wake"

In the horror movie In Its Wake (2023) we find four twenty-somethings and three businessmen are hunted by a terrible monster, while a former minister prepares to do battle with the ancient evil.

There’s nowhere to go…”, states the official synopsis of the film. In the past, it’s been called The Wild Hunt, a time when holy men who have strayed from the path find themselves pursued by dark forces. With two groups of unsuspecting young travelers caught in between, a former minister encounters such a force as the sinister Duke of Crows unleashes his hound, a vicious drude that leaves nothing but death in its wake.

Lee Foster debuts as the solo director of a feature film with In Its Wake (2023) after a few short films including the awards-winner Black Bag (2021) and sharing credits with Jonathan W. Robbins in the music comedy Something Bad (2015). He’s also been the writer of the screenplay together with Angela Cavallin and Ryan Kobold.

Elvis Stojko, Steve Kasan, Paige Foskett, Jacqueline Godbout, Robert Notman, Liam Murphy, Aaron Heels, and Damien Doepping form the main cast.

Uncork’d Entertainment has the distribution rights for the movie and will release it on August 8, 2023, on digital platforms and DVD.
