Who can forget the fall of 1991, when the masses were exposed for the first time to the follow-up for The Terminator (1984). Over 10 years had passed since the first cyborg called The Terminator tried to kill Sarah Connor and her unborn son, John Connor. John Connor, the future leader of the human resistance, is now a healthy young boy. However, another Terminator is sent back through time called the T-1000, which is more advanced and more powerful than its predecessor. The Mission: to kill John Connor when he’s still a child. However, Sarah and John do not have to face this threat of a Terminator alone. Another Terminator is also sent back through time. The mission: to protect John and Sarah Connor at all costs.
The movie, directed by an already almighty James Cameron, was something never seen before. The 4 Oscar winning for the main technical categories proved that. Over 25 years have past and some of those images and effects are still better than most of the boring CGI in films nowadays. And now, after years of speculations and an IMAX release last year, we are about to see in cinemas a new spectacular 3D version of the film.
Some of the international release dates this August are the 11th in Japan, the 24th in Australia, Netherlands and Russia, the 25th in the UK, Turkey and USA, and the 29th in Austria, Germany and Hungary.
