"So Cold the River": Filming a documentary unleashes evilness

In the quest to find the truth, and at the same time develop a worth-watching film, documentary filmmakers sometimes step into some dangerous waters. That is what happens to Erica Shaw, the protagonist of So Cold the River (2022).

In the movie, a young documentary filmmaker’s research on a town’s mysterious benefactor unearths an unexplained evil while staying at a local resort.

This is the new movie of writer and director Paul Shoulberg, his first time behind a movie in the genres of horror and thriller after his awards-winner drama comedies Ms. White Light (2019) and The Good Catholic (2017).

The main cast in So Cold the River (2022) is formed by Bethany Joy Lenz, Alysia Reiner, Andrew J. West, Katie Sarife, Deanna Dunagan, Dakota Phillips, Kevin Cahoon, and Aaron Roman Weiner.

So Cold the River (2022) is Rated R for some violence, bloody images, and language. It is scheduled for a limited release on March 25, 2022. Watch its trailer here.
