It is not easy to be a young person in this competitive world we have created, especially if you have to fight the war of social classes to be face to face with the rich and powerful ones. And in You’re Killing Me (2023), this young lady will pay the consequences.

The movie follows Eden, who goes to a coveted ‘Heaven and Hell’ party, hoping to get a letter of recommendation to an elite university from the wealthy parents of her classmate, but the party quickly turns into a fight for her life.

The awards-winner filmmaker Jerren Lauder, known for the horror titles Stay Out of the F**king Attic (2020) and The Inhabitant (2022), together with the debutant Beth Hanna, are the co-directors of You’re Killing Me (2023). Walker Hare and Brad Martocello have been the writers of the screenplay.

McKaley Miller, one of the stars of Ma (2019) and the TV series Scream Queens (2015–2016), plays the main role of Eden in a main cast that also includes the late Anne Heche (Wag the Dog (1997), Volcano (1997)) and Dermot Mulroney (Young Guns (1988), Scream VI (2023)). Brice Anthony Heller, Wil Deusner, Keyara Milliner, Morgana Van Peebles, Jayson Warner Smith, and Hannah Celeste also star.

You’re Killing Me (2023) is having a limited theatrical release and is also coming out on digital on April 7, 2023. Watch its official trailer here.
