After seeing the trailer for Share or Die (2021) one can think this is some sort of new take on the unavoidable fatal fates witnessed in Final Destination (2000) and its sequels, only this time is not destiny itself that mark the victims to perish by weird accidents and happenings, but it is an internet post who does the job.
According to the official plot of the film, a mysterious post circulates through social media, killing anyone who doesn’t share it within one minute. Coining the phrase “CELL FILM” because of how it incorporates social media and everyday cell phone use with a feature film, giving viewers a brand new, inventive way to watch movies.
Share or Die (2021) is the new movie of the tandem of writers and directors Joseph Mazzaferro and Joseph Daniel Thomas, after being responsible for the documentaries Meeting #FloridaMan (2019) and Built on Graves (2020), and the documentary TV series Glitch – Mysteries Conspiracies and Paranormal (2019– ).
The main cast is formed by Lisa Arcaro, Danielle J. Bowman, Matt Coombs, Lauren Crandall, Noah Diggs, Michael Kenneth Fahr, Callie Grayson, Michael E. Hambrick, Kaylie Heyner, and Austin Janowsky.
