Horror-thriller movies surrounding serial killers are always candy for people like us. Two new movies exploring the wicked acts of vile people are these days available online.
In Killer Among Us (2021), on the 4th of July, a rookie female cop partners with a veteran detective to save the life of a high-school student from a radicalized serial killer.
The movie is the debut feature film of Charlie Scharfman. He has also been the writer of the screenplay together with the also debutant Daniel Lichtenberg.
Yasha Jackson, Imani Lewis, Bruce MacVittie, Angelic Zambrana, Andrew Richardson, Zuri Reed, Juan Carlos Diaz, Kiarra Goldberg, Kendall Lloyd, Stephen W. Tenner, and Jasmin Richardson form the main cast of the movie.

In addition to that, Women (2021) centers on a small-town detective who investigates into a Sociology professor when a mutilated body is found and women have gone missing from his class.
Anton Sigurdsson, nominated for several awards thanks to his thriller drama Cruelty (2016) (Grimmd in the original Icelandic language), and also director of horror-thriller Graves & Bones (2016) and action-comedy Fullir Vasar (2018), has been the writer and director of Women (2021). This marks his debut in an English-language production.
Anna Maiche, Anna Marie Dobbins, Kylie Delre, Anthony Del Negro, Adam Dorsey, Heather Fusari, Cindy Hogan, Christi Cawley, Victor Rivera, Darius Devontaye Green, Denise Gossett, and Erinn Jones form the main cast.
