It is undoubtful that Scream is one of the most successful horror franchise of the last decades. The saga Wes Craven started over 20 years ago with Scream (1996) saw 3 more sequels being Scream 4 (2011) the final one to date, a successful TV series Scream: The TV Series (2015– ) and many many fan adaptations and impersonations. It is evident that Scream has become one of the most iconic horror universes for the new generations, with the permission of another popular film saga, SAW. And that is thanks to a very distinctive and immortal villain as is Ghostface.

Brandon Tobatto is a filmmaker active for a decade that has based his career on exploiting the genres of horror. With a clear reference of classics like Friday the 13th (1980) or Silent Night, Deadly Night (1984) or Halloween (1978), it was a matter of time that the concept of Scream would be the center of one of his productions.
