Red band trailer for "Life", coming soon sci-fi odyssey

Scientists have been crazy for the last years to be able to announce the finding of life in Mars. Well, the wait comes to an end soon, very soon. At least at the movie theatres. Because Life (2017), one of the most awaited horror science fiction titles of the year, is opening in a week. After its world wide premier this weekend at the Southwest Film Festival, regular theatres won’t be delayed to have the movie in their projectors. Because next week the film opens in the USA, UK, Germany, Netherlands, Russia and many other countries. Spain, France, South Korea and some others will have to hold it for a little bit longer, since the film will open in April.

Taken from the plot summary by Sony Pictures, Life (2017) “tells the story of the six-member crew of the International Space Station that is on the cutting edge of one of the most important discoveries in human history: the first evidence of extraterrestrial life on Mars. As the crew begins to conduct research, their methods end up having unintended consequences and the life form proves more intelligent than anyone ever expected”. The film is written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, who were responsables for the texts for Zombieland (2009) and Deadpool (2016). The director’s chair has been taken by swedish Daniel Espinosa, one of the most respected directors thanks to the crime thriller Child 44 (2015). Rebecca Ferguson, Ryan Reynolds, Jake Gyllenhaal, Hiroyuki Sanada, Olga Dihovichnaya and Naoko Mori star.

A lover of science fiction as I am, I can’t wait to have the chance to go watch Life (2017). Specially after this more than exciting red band trailer released yesterday! Life is cruel, and this time we want it this way.
