Red band trailer and a new poster for "The Predator"

Shane Black’s closure to the trilogy originated with Predator (1987), starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Predator 2 (1990), starring Danny Glover, is finally hitting theaters the 14th of September (and one day before in the territories when the movie releases of the week are on Thursday, like Germany, Australia, Russia or Portugal). But the producers of Twentieth Century Fox are making sure to be releasing new material every month to keep the audiences aware and make the hype bigger. And at least to me it is working!

After the first teaser, where some of the plotlines were shared, and the first official trailers where we got to see a new generation of Predator was on the playground, now we have here the first red band trailer for The Predator (2018), where one can see the violence and gore of the first two movies is not at all scratched out of the picture. Good!

In this new entry of the horror and science-fiction saga, the universe’s most lethal hunters are stronger, smarter and deadlier than ever before, having genetically upgraded themselves with DNA from other species. When a young boy accidentally triggers their return to Earth, only a ragtag crew of ex-soldiers and a disgruntled science teacher can prevent the end of the human race. In fact, the headline “the hunt has evolved” used on the new poster for the movie has more sense than ever.

Shane Black has directed and co-writer together with Fred Dekker the movie. Yvonne Strahovski, Olivia Munn, Lochlyn Munro, Jacob Tremblay, Sterling K. Brown, Thomas Jane, Boyd Holbrook, Keegan-Michael Key, Edward James Olmos and Jake Busey star. Check out the red band trailer and new poster for The Predator (2018) here:
