Rebecca is a terrifying “Superhost” [official trailer]

For all of those who are thinking of starting a successful vlog channel, there is one idea that they should scratch out of their list. Because the stars in Superhost (2021) already tried it and the results weren’t as expected.

Teddy and Claire are travel vloggers who run a channel called “SUPERHOST” where they travel and share their experiences in and around vacation homes, and until recently, had become successful doing it. With a dwindling subscriber count, they find the perfect opportunity to create content that people want to see when they meet Rebecca, the host of their most recent trip. But instead of becoming a terrific experience, it became terrifying.

This is the new movie of the writer and director Brandon Christensen after the awards-winner horror flicks Still/Born (2017) and Z (2019).

Gracie Gillam, who debuted as an actress in a feature film with a supporting role in the horror remake Fright Night (2011), plays the wicked Rebecca. Sara Canning, known for the TV series The Vampire Diaries (2009–2017), and Osric Chau, who has been seen in Beyond Redemption (2015) and Blood and Water (2015–) TV series, play the two vloggers. The main cast is completed with the always enjoyable Barbara Crampton.
