Australian actress Radha Mitchell returns to the genre where she has achieved better popularity thanks to her participation in films that became hits like Pitch Black (2000), Silent Hill (2006), and Rogue (2007). And in Devil’s Workshop (2022) she even takes a step forward because this time she plays a demonologist, the biggest expert on the subject.
The movie centers on struggling actor Clayton who is desperate for a role as a demonologist. He contacts Eliza, an expert in devil lore, to help him prepare and spends the weekend at her home. Eliza forces Clayton to confront his troubling past, perform dark rituals, and sacrifice a goat. Does she want to help Clayton, seduce him, or destroy him? The shocking climax will set your soul ablaze.
Together with Radha Mitchell, the movie is starring Timothy Granaderos (Untitled Horror Movie (2021), Who Invited Them (2022)) and Emile Hirsch (The Darkest Hour (2011), The Autopsy of Jane Doe (2016)). Sarah Coffey, Brooke Ramirez, Chris von Hoffmann, Miles Doleac, and Joe Gallagher complete the main cast.
Devil’s Workshop (2022) is the new movie by writer, producer, supporting actor, and director Chris von Hoffmann, known for the horror-oriented titles Drifter (2016), Monster Party (2018), the segment “Ephebiphobia” in the anthology Phobias (2021), and a wide collection of short films.
Manhattan Movie Studio and Future Proof Films are producing with Lionsgate in charge of the distribution. The movie is coming out on September 30, 2022, in selected theaters and on digital.
