"Prototype": They're built to make life easier, but things didn't go as expected

Since humans are humans, we have been creating tools and machines to make things easier. From a piece of rock to crack open some fruits, the essential wheel, the use of electricity, and the now so sophisticated computers that we seem not to be able to operate in our daily basics without. And, as always, the more complicated the machine is, the biggest responsibility they hold. And when subjects like Artificial Intelligence and the conscience of being alive are on the table one must act with big caution or the events we have seen in many movies with the computers against humans can happen again. In the style of the sublime Ex Machina (2014), Prototype (2022) is coming out next month.

the movie is set in the near future, where life-like androids with Artificial Intelligence have been created to help people with menial household tasks. The prototype, One, created by Roger Marshall and tested by his family, proves to be popular but flawed. Roger has been working on a new model, Two, whose improved features show promise of its super-human abilities. As tensions rise between Roger and wife Shelley, the androids malfunction and the lives of the whole family are soon in danger of Two’s sinister plans.

This is the new movie by Jack Peter Mundy, a filmmaker known for Dinosaur Hotel (2021), Monsters of War (2021), Amityville Scarecrow (2021), The Legend of Jack and Jill (2021), and Easter Killing (2021). The screenplay has been written by the debutant Sam Gurney.

The main cast for Prototype (2022) is formed by Danielle Scott, Andrew Rolfe, Stephanie Lodge, Tom Taplin, Jamie Robertson, Zoe Purdy, Ben Reid, and Luke Robinson.

The movie is set for a digital release on April 5, 2022. Watch the trailer for Prototype (2022) here.
