Monsters and plants hold hands in the psychological horror Pollen (2023).
The movie centers on an idealistic young woman who believes she is poised for success as she begins a long-coveted job. After a senior coworker assaults the bright-eyed young woman, her dream job becomes a living nightmare as she tries to keep her career together while being tormented at work, at home, and in her dreams by a mysterious tree monster.
This is the debut feature film of the writer and director D.W. Medoff after a few awards-winning short films including I’m Down Here (2022) and Yahrzeit (2022).
Ava Rose Kinard, Tyler Buckingham, Riley Madison Fuller, Ashley Ames, Ian Covell, Bennett Welch, Leanna Adams, and Sajid Chaudhary form the main cast in Pollen (2023).
Produced by RoleCall and Bone Broth Films, the movie is distributed by Gravitas Ventures who has set its digital release date for June 6, 2023.
