This week was the chosen one to release on DVD and VOD the horror film Pitchfork (2016). The film, directed by debutant Glenn Douglas Packard, harvested a handful of awards in the genre 2016 festivals season, and was one of the straight-to-video most awaited releases.
Official plot reads: “After sharing a secret about himself, Hunter brings a group of friends from NYC back to his family farm for a weekend break. They quickly learn that secrets can be deadly as they are stalked by a twisted and disturbed beast, Pitchfork”. What we will find here is a bunch of good looking youngsters being slashed by an evil maniac played by Daniel Wilkinson.
Also starred by Lindsey Nicole, Ryan Moore, Celina Beach, Nicole Dambro, Keith Webb and Sheila Leason among others, Pitchfork (2016) was one of the most enjoyed gory films of 2016. Although nothing new is expected in this film, it sure brings good doses of thrilling horror perfect for a boring winter weekend night.
