"Piglady": Inspired by true events, a group of friends tastes the madness of a mysterious recluded woman

Susan Monica, who is currently alive and serving 50 years in prison, is a former US Navy sailor who garnered public attention after being convicted of murdering two men at her residence in rural Oregon. In 2012 and 2013 she hired two men who worked as handymen on her farm, dismembered them, and fed them to her pigs. She was convicted in 2015.

Piglady (2023) is a horror movie inspired by the Susan Monica Murders. Filmed on the location of the actual crime, the movie centers on a group of friends while on a Christmas vacation to a cabin in Southern Oregon who learn of a rumor of an antisocial woman who allegedly murders people and feeds her victims to pigs.

The film was a Kickstarter project that started in 2020 and by February 2021 achieved the funding goal. It is the debut feature film of the writer and director Adam Fair, with Alex C. Johnson as the co-writer and producer.

The main cast in Piglady (2023) is formed by Alicia Karami, Karri Davis, Liam Samuel Watkins III, Marcus Gonzalez, Lazarus Tate, Jeff Hunter, Elisa Meyer, the director Adam Fair, and Sandra Dee Tryon as Piglady.

Piglady (2023) is opening today on several streaming platforms including DirecTV, Amazon Prime Video, iTunes, and Vudu. Watch its official trailer here.
