The title of this article says pretty much everything. Sightless (2020) is a psychological thriller playing with the primary elements of suspense which is, basically, your own mind and how your senses can play tricks on you. In the style of what Alfred Hitchcock did in his immortal classic Rear Window (1954).

After an attack renders her blind, Ellen Ashland withdraws from the world to recover. But soon she plunges into paranoia, unable to convince anyone that her assailant has returned to terrorize her by hiding in plain sight.

Sightless (2020) is the debut film of writer and director Cooper Karl, and it’s based on his short film of the same name Sightless (2017). Madelaine Petsch, Alexander Koch, Deniz Akdeniz, Matthew Yang King, December Ensminger, Lee Jones, Courtney Compton, and Jarrod Crawford form the main cast.

The movie was part of the festival Dances With Films Festival on September 2, 2020, where it had a warming reception praising its surprising plot twists and the delicate way the story is driven. It had its internet premiere on September 29, 2020. Here you can watch the trailer for Sightless (2020).
