Plagues wherever you look at. COVID-19 was not as lethal as we first thought it would be, but it opened the door for a list of uncountable fiction pieces where a mortal virus destroys our way of living forever. Eradication (2022) is another one of those titles.
In the movie, when an unknown disease wipes out most of the world’s population, a man with unique blood is isolated for study. Fearing for his wife’s safety, he breaks his quarantine into a world overrun by monstrous Infected and a shadowy agency hunting them down.
This is the debut feature film of writer and director Daniel Byers, the director of the environmental film studio Skyship Films and responsible for a good collection of short films and documentaries. Harry Aspinwall, one of the stars in Eradication (2022), is also the co-writer of the screenplay.
Together with Harry Aspinwall, Anita Abdinezhad and Christian Masters complete the main cast.
The movie is already available on the streaming service Tubi.
