If you don’t know what to do this weekend, you can always take a look at a film like She Kills (2016). Written and directed by trashy films veteran Ron Bonk, this movie is starting to become a little must in all the Video On Demand networks. Drinking massively in the waters of 1970s explotation and grindhouse films, She Kills tells the story of young innocent Sadie, that in her wedding day she has to witness how her husband is brutally murdered by a gang called “The Touchers”. But no chance for grieving here because she is gifted (or punished, depending on the point of view) with the “Fire Crotch”, a condition where Satan has laid claim to her vagina.
With this crazy start point, what we have thing is one hour and a half of brutal sordid gore and black humor display. Okay, special effects are cheap and some shit going one must be taken as a joke, that is very true. But over all, direction and acting is surprisingly good. Everything here is made in the name of fun. And it works.
