In their quest of filling up their Netflix Originals catalog with tons of horror movies from all kinds of countries, the popular streaming platform has scheduled to add on Thursday the 22nd of October Norwegian horror-thriller Cadaver (2020) (Kadaver in its original language).
The movie is set in the aftermath of a nuclear disaster and centers on a starving family that finds hope in a charismatic hotel owner. Lured by the prospect of a free dinner, they discover that the evening’s entertainment blurs the lines between performance and reality. Will they wind up the spectators or the spectacle?
Cadaver (2020) is the new movie of the young writer and director Jarand Herdal after a set of short films and his debut action and science-fiction low budget Everywhen (2013), winner of the Jury Prize at Victoria TX Indie Film Fest in 2014. It is starred by Gitte Witt, Thomas Gullestad, Thorbjørn Harr, Kingsford Siayor, Maria Grazia Di Meo, Jonatan Rodriguez, Trine Wiggen, and Tuva Olivia Remman.
To warm up the motors until the release of the film on the 22nd of October, 2020, here you can watch its official trailer in the original Norwegian language with English subtitles.
